Pea Sticks

Pea sticks supporting french beans on the left and sugar snap peas on the right

Use pea sticks whole to support tall plants, or cut off pieces to push into the ground at any angle to support lower growing plants.

In this picture I am supporting french beans on the left with pieces of pea stick pushed into the ground at an angle and with some twigs half snapped to weave them back down. On the right I am supporting sugar snap peas with whole pea sticks pushed in vertically and held in three loose bundles with garden twine.

Bundle of pea sticks

Bushy plant supports. Bundles of 20. Most of the pea sticks are fan-shaped.
